Project Spotlight: Harris Ranch III

The main goal of this project was to create a Koi Pond that the homeowners could view from their new outdoor living space as well as from inside the house. A new free-form Koi pond was designed with a paver patio and large boulder slab bridge. A waterfall acts as the foal point to add sound and visual interest.

The project was installed by Sterling Landscape in 2014.

Since 1995, Chuck has been involved in developing creative outdoor spaces for residential, civic and commercial clientele. The overall goal of Chuck’s design philosophy is create outdoor spaces that are comfortable, creative and cost effective.
As a Licensed Landscape Architect in the State of Idaho, Chuck works closely with his clients to develop a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor environments. He excels in Schematic design, design development & graphic communication. Chuck likes to focus on material choice, color and texture (plants or hardscape) to tie the landscape with the Architectural environment and develop landscapes that fit in with the surrounding elements.
Chuck has been actively involved in designing private residences, subdivision master planning, commercial developments, park and athletic field master planning as well as civic plazas and streetscapes. Chuck works closely with the owners and agencies to develop a landscape design that will gain project approval and exceed client’s expectations.
